MÁRIA PINČÍKOVÁ
Founder
Fiction and Documentary Film Producer
Slovak director and photographer Mária Pinčíková (1987) studied documentary film at the Film and Television Faculty at the Academy of Performing Arts, Bratislava, SR (bachelor’s degree) and master’s degree ( fiction film ) at the prestigious University of Arts in London, UK. She also studied photography and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and also at the University of Silesia in Opava, Czech Republic (ITF). Previously she also studied architecture at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and pedagogy (Slovak language and literature combined with visual arts) at the Comenius University, Slovakia.
While studying film, she graduated from the renowned IDFA Academy program in Netherlands and completed internships at Czech Television in Prague and Mischief films in Vienna.
In 2015, she co-founded the advertising studio Jelly Advertising, where she works as an art director.
In 2022, she founded the film producing company 0000 s.r.o.
Her work is characterised by various genres and a combination of documentary and feature directing methods: her portfolio includes mockumentaries, hybrid films, film portraits, observational documentaries, short and feature films.
VALENTÍNA HUČKOVÁ
Junior Animation Producer
A multimedia artist, animator and Junior Producer focused on the power of film, art and education to inspire positive social change. Internationally certified Green Filming Consultant/Sustainability Manager responsible for decreasing the carbon footprint of productions, active in Film and TV, Documentary and Animation productions. Also active sa a creator and facilitator of educational workshops for children, youth and adults on animation, creative reuse, critical storytelling. Collaborating with international Animated film festivals as organiser of industry-facing programs and education facilitator.
PETER BARAN
Production coordinator
Slovak film and visual arts professional. Graduate of the University of The Arts in London. Head of Production on the documentary “On Your Marks” (2021). Working with Maria on projects since university, 2014. Founder of the globally-exhibited sculptural project REGULAR CONCRETE.
